Job summary

The Pet Resort at Greenspring is seeking enthusiastic team members for full-time kennel and part-time roles. Join a friendly, animal-loving staff with opportunities for leadership, flexible scheduling, and a supportive, dog- and cat-friendly workplace.

Daily tasks include feeding, enrichment activities, cleaning, light grooming, and ensuring the safety and happiness of the pets. Weekend and some holiday work are required, and you may bring your own dog to work when space allows.

Qualifications

• Able to perform manual labor tasks and maintain a clean environment.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized; cross-training across kennel duties.

Responsibilities

• Feeding pets and providing fresh water.
• Providing enrichment activities (nature walks, puzzles).
• Cleaning runs and yard; handling waste.
• Light grooming (bathing, nails, ears) with training available.
• Ensure pets are safe, cared for and loved.
• Give affectionate attention to dogs and cats.

The Pet Resort at Greenspring is seeking Full Time and Part Time Kennel positions

We are currently hiring enthusiastic team members to support our Kennel and Doggy Daycare; work with a fun, dedicated staff with room for leadership positions, salary adjustments early on, and flexible schedules. Knowledge of animal care is a plus but not required most importantly we are looking for individuals with a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and ability to learn quickly. Candidates of course must love working with dogs and cats, provide a high level of animal care, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Important things to know:

• Full Time work is 4 (nine hour) days / Part Time must be able to work at least 20 hours a week
• Work with your schedule: we know life happens and we like to support you when it does
• We work as a team and cross train so you are familiar with all aspects of the kennel
• You can bring your dog to work (as space is available)!!

About the Job

DailyResponsibilities Include:

• Feeding, providing yummy snacks, and ensuring there is fresh water
• Providing enrichment activities such as nature walks, snuffle mats, and puzzles
• Cleaning! With the fur flying and paw prints, we clean a lot!
• Light grooming such as bathing, nails, and ears (training available)
• Ensure the pets in our care are safe, well cared for, and loved
• Give extra love, snuggles, and belly rubs

We love and treat the dogs and cats in our kennel as if they are our own. They give us as much love and support as we give them!

Requirements

• Able to perform manual labor tasks such as but not limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning runs and yard of animal waste, feeding and walking.
• Maintaining a clean and healthy environment
• Able to multi-task and be highly organized; we Cross Train so you will learn all aspects dog/cat care to include: kennel care; light grooming; & enrichment and daycare
• You will work with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and needs;
• Able to work weekends and some holidays
• You will be required to lift up to 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods of time
