Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related degree from an accredited program and 10 years related professional experience in design and/or project management required or applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
• Progressive design-build construction delivery experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and/or management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to all levels.
• Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.
• Strong project management skills and a strategic perspective.
• Proficiency with computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to a team of DOE construction project managers delivering federal and private infrastructure projects.
• Lead growth and operational performance of the DOE construction section, including staffing and resource allocation.
• Oversee planning and execution of capital improvement programs and federal projects.
• Ensure delivery across planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout with safety, quality, schedule and budget in mind.
• Coordinate activities within active environments to minimize impacts on facilities operations and the public.
• Build client relationships with federal agencies and private clients while expanding subcontractor networks.
