Burns & McDonnell is seeking a DOE Construction Section Manager to lead a team delivering complex federal and private infrastructure projects. You will drive strategic growth, staffing, and performance, ensuring safe, on-time delivery across CIP and active environments with strong client relationships.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field with 10 years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience in progressive design-build construction delivery.
• Proven leadership and/or management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across all levels.
• Ability to influence, lead, and manage change.
• Strong project management skills and strategic perspective.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to a team delivering federal/private infrastructure projects.
• Grow and optimize the DOE construction section's staffing and performance.
• Oversee planning and execution of CIP and federal projects.
• Ensure delivery across planning, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout with safety, quality, schedule, and budget in mind.
• Coordinate construction in active environments to minimize operational impacts.
• Build trusted relationships with federal agencies, clients, and subcontractors.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors to support pricing, availability, and execution.

• Coordinate with owners, regulators, and community stakeholders on requirements and risks.
• Support risk management, phasing plans, and operational coordination for secure environments.
• Lead organizational change and continuous improvement in the section.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability, utilization, backlog, and client satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, staffing forecasts, and professional development programs.
• Review project and portfolio performance with schedules and financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks with stakeholders throughout delivery.
