Job summary

Lynch Consultants is seeking a Performance Metrics Analyst to monitor, analyze, and present program metrics to senior DON executives in the National Capital Region. This role supports the Department of the Navy with data-driven insights and executive briefings, with potential remote work and occasional in-person support at the Pentagon.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS, an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 3+ years of program management experience, plus deep knowledge of DoD

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional program management experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report Budget Submitting Office (BSO) performance using authoritative data sources.
• Develop and maintain accurate performance reports and executive briefings for GS-15 and SES leadership.
• Identify overperforming and underperforming entities, investigate anomalous data, analyze performance trends, and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with BSOs and command-level stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting, resolve discrepancies, and address performance deficiencies.
• Track, monitor, and report remediation plans for underperforming entities, including corrective actions, milestones, and progress updates.
• Apply proactive critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and strong communication skills to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and support senior leadership decision-making.

Make an impact supporting the DON (Department of the Navy)! Lynch Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Performance Metrics Analyst. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, coordinate, and present program metrics to senior DON executives.

Salary: Up to $84,000, commensurate with experience.

Work Location and Schedule

• Full-Time Position in the National Capital Region (NCR), capable of supporting the client remotely and inperson atthe Pentagon (as needed).

Required Qualifications – Must Have

• MUST have a BA/BS
• MUSThave an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
• MUST be a U.S. citizen.
• MUST have a strong understanding of DoD financial operations.
• MUST have 3+ years ofprofessional program management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD or DON program experience in a headquarters organization.

Job Duties
