Job summary

Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking a Performance Metrics Analyst to support Department of the Navy (DON) executives with monitoring, analyzing, coordinating, and presenting program metrics. The role emphasizes data integrity, timely reporting, and clear executive briefings for high-level leadership.

The position requires a BA/BS, an active Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and 3+ years of program management experience within DoD financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and report Budget Submitting Office (BSO) performance using authoritative data sources; extract, validate, and reconcile metric data.
• Develop and maintain accurate, timely performance reports and executive-level briefings for GS-15 and SES leadership.
• Identify overperforming and underperforming entities; investigate anomalous data; analyze performance trends; conduct root-cause analyses.
• Coordinate with BSOs and command-level stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, resolve discrepancies, and address performance deficiencies.
• Track, monitor, and report remediation plans for underperforming entities, including actions, milestones, and progress updates.
• Apply proactive critical thinking and analytical problem-solving to manage priorities and support leadership decisions.

Make an impact supporting the DON (Department of the Navy)! Lynch Consultants is seeking a highly motivated Performance Metrics Analyst. In this role, you will monitor, analyze, coordinate, and present program metrics to senior DON executives.

Only applicants who fully meet all required qualifications will be considered for further review.

Salary

Up to $84,000, commensurate with experience.

Work Location and Schedule

• Full-Time Position in the National Capital Region (NCR), capable of supporting the client remotely and in person at the Pentagon (as needed).

Required Qualifications – Must Have

• MUST have a BA/BS
• MUST have an ACTIVE Secret Clearance.
• MUST be a U.S. citizen.
• MUST have a strong understanding of DoD financial operations.
• MUST have 3+ years of professional program management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD or DON program experience in a headquarters organization.

Job Duties

• Monitor, analyze, and report Budget Submitting Office (BSO) performance using authoritative data sources to extract, validate, and reconcile metric data.
