Job summary

Signalink, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to collaborate with engineers, logisticians, and DoD subject matter experts in support of Army programs.

The role involves developing Technical Manuals, operator and maintenance publications, and updating documentation in real time. The candidate will adhere to MIL standards, participate in document reviews, and coordinate with engineering for redline incorporation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum.
• 5–10 years of DoD/government/contractor experience.
• Experience developing US Army or DoD publications (MWOs and TMs).
• Active secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain one.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of logistics standards (MIL-HDBK-1222C, AMC-P 700-25, MIL-PRF-63002J, MIL-STD-400051) and apply to docs.
• Develop TM work packages, operator manuals, and MWOs.
• Assist engineering with redline work, troubleshooting, and on-site updates.
• Review and edit peer documents as part of the process.
• Report progress to project lead and manage files per procedures.
