Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience or a master’s degree with a minimum of 0 years; will consider high school diploma/GED with 6+ years.
• Experience editing/writing technical documentation and procedural materials for multiple audiences.
• General knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
• Proficient MS Word user.
• Ability to edit visuals, graphics, diagrams, and tables for technical content.

Responsibilities

• Editing, formatting, and maintaining program and technical documentation (plans, design specs, user manuals, build and installation docs).
• Writing and reviewing SOPs, internal docs, and checklists as needed.
• Collaborating with authors, stakeholders, and SMEs to understand subject matter.
• Ensuring documents follow format, markings, and style requirements; ensure accuracy before approval.
• Suggesting industry best practices and participate in process improvements.
