Job summary

The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and lead software projects across Windows and Linux environments. You will collaborate with sponsorships to curate requirements, define sprint work items, and organize development teams.

You will work with languages including C/C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, and related tools, contributing to DoD-related test systems and lab environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with one or more of the following languages: C/C++, C# (WPF with .NET and MVVM), Javascript/Typescript, and/or Python.
• Experience with EW and Avionics Systems architecture, function and interfaces, including RF systems.
• Experience developing on/for Windows and Linux operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform software development, debugging, modification, enhancement, and documentation
• Design, test, and develop computer software to meet program requirements
• Apply expertise in computing systems to define requirements and develop software designs recognizing limitations of target hardware platforms
• Develop and maintain kernel and user-level software and scripts
• Contribute to research reports, presentations, white papers, and competitive proposals
• Create and analyze network protocols
