Job summary

The JAAW Group LLC seeks a Systems Engineer to support DoD mission-critical IT at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The role covers design, integration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex enterprise systems.

Onsite work is required with an active Secret clearance; candidates should collaborate across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and networking teams to ensure secure and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required prior to onboarding.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering, systems administration, infrastructure engineering, or related role.
• Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and security.
• Ability to work onsite at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
• Support Windows and/or Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and related infrastructure.
• Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance and resolve issues.
• Perform configuration, patching, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
• Support integration across servers, networks, storage, applications, and cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Implement and maintain system security configurations in coordination with cybersecurity teams.
• Support configuration management, baselines, and change management processes.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, diagrams, configurations, runbooks, and procedures.
