Job summary

Aether Aerospace in Patuxent River, MD is seeking a Systems Administrator to support a major NAVAIR program office. The role includes reviewing and documenting the release of information to international participants and mentoring the Foreign Disclosure team.

We require an active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret, 5+ years in systems administration, RMF/STIG experience, and skills in VMware, Linux/Windows, networking, backups, and Active Directory.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Minimum 5 years of Systems Administration experience.
• Experience supporting DoD programs, customers, or secure DoD environments.
• RMF compliance experience, including scanning and STIG execution.
• Proficient with VMware, virtual networking, system backups, and AD.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions for government software hosting facilities.
• Deploy and maintain hardware infrastructure, including VMs and containers.
• Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes on hosts.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.
