Job summary

PingWind is seeking a qualified Systems Administrator to provide full-time support for a critical Department of Defense mission at Devens, MA. The role requires 24/7 coverage, shift work, and strict adherence to security protocols.

You will administer Windows systems, monitor performance, apply STIGs, and ensure secure, reliable operations across classified and unclassified networks with occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance or eligibility to obtain within 60 days.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in classified IT services and networking.
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems and virtualization.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity standards, STIGs and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and maintain Windows systems supporting mission networks.
• Perform real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of system, network, and application issues.
• Manage user accounts, group policies, and access controls per DoD directives.
• Install, configure, and maintain servers, routers, switches, and Type 1 encryption devices.
• Apply cybersecurity standards including DISA STIGs and patch management.
• Maintain system documentation and trouble tickets; support 24/7 operations.
• Coordinate shift turnover and ensure uninterrupted mission operations.
