Job summary

Foxhole Technology in a DoD environment seeks a Systems Administrator to support enterprise systems, maintain core services, and implement RMF controls. This role offers hands-on work across Windows and Linux platforms, under the guidance of senior admins.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT operations, a DoD 8140/8570 IAT II certification, and the ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance with TS eligibility. You will work with security tools like HBSS, ACAS, and SIEM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in help desk, desktop support or systems administration.
• Current DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE) required.
• Ability to obtain an active DoD Secret clearance w/ TS eligibility.
• Experience managing Windows Server or Linux systems.
• Ability to follow structured processes and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine system tasks such as user account setup and password resets.
• Monitor system functionality; diagnose hardware and software issues.
• Roll out updates, patches, and antivirus per DoD directives (STIGs/IAVM).
• Maintain Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy under senior guidance.
• Contribute to RMF-based control implementation for security compliance.
• Update system documentation and configuration records.
• Assist in backup and restoration procedures to ensure continuity.
• Provide operational support for security tools like HBSS, ACAS, SIEM.
