Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries supports NSWCDD DNA and provides enterprise management and technical support for the CIO over the RDT&E core infrastructure. This role focuses on system administration within a DoD environment, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across Windows Server and Linux derivatives.

The ideal candidate brings DoD experience, TS clearance, and hands-on skills with AD, GPO, DNS/DHCP, VMware, Veeam, and PowerShell to design, deploy, and maintain robust IT systems

Qualifications

• Must have DoD Top Secret clearance.
• 5+ years of system administration experience in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experienced STIG reviewer.
• Proficient with Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, DNS, DHCP, and database support.
• Proficient with PowerShell scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10/11 and RHEL 8.
• Manage AD, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and related services.
• Administer VMware VXRails and Veeam backups for data integrity.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and support operations.
• Create and maintain reports to meet contract requirements.
• Troubleshoot system and network performance issues.
• Interface with vendor support for escalations during outages.
• Maintain DISA STIG compliance and NAVSEA policies across systems.
• Design and deploy new solutions to meet daily customer needs.
• Provide end-user hardware/software support and deployment.
• Document SOPs, standards, and implementation guides.
