Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a System Administrator to provide on-site IT support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) in Crane, Indiana.

The role emphasizes maintaining secure Windows environments, administering Active Directory, patch management, and DoD-level STIGs compliance to support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of IT experience, active DoD eligibility, and the ability to work independently in a technical laboratory setting,

Qualifications

• Three+ years of IT experience.
• Experience supporting Windows workstations.
• Experience with patch management and DoD hardening.
• Active DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II/III certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Windows workstation hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Support system integration, workstation lifecycle, and software installation/maintenance.
• Administer Active Directory and Windows-based environments.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets, service requests, and documentation.
• Perform patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening per DoD requirements.
• Apply STIGs and develop compliance artifacts.
• Maintain hardware/software inventory and IA compliance activities.
• Create and maintain system, network, and configuration documentation.
• Research COTS and open-source software solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
