Title: DoD Sr. Contract Recruiter

Location: Remote - Washington, D.C.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedule: 3-month contract

Work Days: Monday – Friday

Position Overview: As a Senior Contract Recruiter, you will lead talent acquisition for high-priority roles across the DoD, Federal Agencies, and Intelligence Communities. You will utilize your expertise in sourcing, engagement, and pipeline development to identify and convert top passive candidates supporting our national security mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use advanced techniques (Boolean logic, Chrome extensions, social platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Clearance Jobs, and tools like Hiretual/Entelo) to engage passive talent.
• Build and maintain a strong talent network for hard-to-fill DoD and Federal roles.
• Evaluate skills, qualifications, and cultural fit through targeted outreach and interviews.
• Proactively identify and attract diverse, high-performing candidates.
• Track candidates, metrics, and reporting meticulously in the applicant system.
• Partner with hiring teams to align requirements and expedite hiring decisions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of recruiting experience in lieu of degree.
• 6+ years proven success recruiting for DoD, Federal Agencies, or Intelligence Communities.
• Experience with Boolean searches, social sourcing, and niche platforms.
• Candidate engagement strategies for passive talent.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills to effectively sell opportunities to candidates.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of accurate ATS/reporting management.
