Job summary

SimVentions seeks a motivated SkillBridge Intern with a STEM background to join our innovation team. This program targets transitioning service members, offering hands-on experience and mentorship while you apply military skills in civilian settings.

You will assist cross-functional teams, participate in research and reporting, and gain exposure to technologies in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and Cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Active Duty military service member eligible for SkillBridge program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Eagerness to translate military experience into civilian tech roles (Technology/Innovation, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, Cybersecurity).
• STEM degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations and support cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to the completion of projects, including research, analysis, and reporting.
• Participate in team meetings, offering input and suggestions based on your background and expertise.
• Gain experience in specific technologies, tools, or processes relevant to the role.
• Build and enhance professional skills in areas such as communication, leadership, and problem-solving.
