Job summary

Serco is seeking a highly experienced Security Engineer to support SCAR activities for AFLCMC under a DoD program. The role focuses on RMF compliance, A&A support, and implementing CND and IA measures across simulated and training environments.

The candidate will assess security controls, develop risk mitigation strategies, and coordinate with AOs to ensure effective cybersecurity readiness across DoD systems. A DoD Secret clearance and related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security clearance.
• Experience with RMF activities and A&A efforts.
• Knowledge of NIST security controls and DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to prepare technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Perform SCAR duties in support of A&A activities for simulators, networks, ranges, and M&S environments.
• Assist SCAs and AOs in evaluating security controls and compliance.
• Monitor and maintain protection of information systems, databases and networks.
