Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Manassas, VA, supporting a DoD secret clearance role at an aerospace/defense location. You will monitor, patrol, and deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and reporting, with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires at least 2 years in security, an active DoD Secret Clearance, and a high school diploma. Full-time schedule with potential CPR/First Aid preference and lifting up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity.
• Monitor access to the aerospace and defense location, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document visitor and delivery activity.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
