Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer with an active DoD Secret clearance for an Arlington, VA aerospace/defense site. You will monitor, respond to alarms, provide customer service, and enforce site policies.

This full-time role offers stable shifts, training opportunities, and benefits. At least two years of security experience and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in security-related roles.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as directed by site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
