Qualifications

• As a Security Officer Unarmed, a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks per applicable laws and a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures at an aerospace/defense site.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following post orders and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs.
