Job summary

Absolute Business Solutions Corp (ABSC) is hiring a Data Center Network Engineer to operate and protect data center infrastructure for AFNCR ITS-2 programs. You will manage Cisco networking, load-balancing, encryption devices, and security controls to ensure network availability and mission readiness.

The role requires active DoD Secret clearance, a relevant degree with years of experience, and full-time onsite work at Joint Base Andrews, MD with occasional telework as mission requirements

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline with at least five years of relevant hands-on experience.
• Alternatively, a master’s degree in a qualifying technical discipline with at least three years of relevant experience.
• In lieu of a degree, at least 10 years of intensive and progressive experience demonstrating the required technical proficiency.
• Current CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain core data center network infrastructure.
• Configure and administer Cisco Nexus switches supporting secure data center operations.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst Center to support network management, automation, visibility, and device lifecycle operations.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Identity Services Engine for policy enforcement and authentication.
• Configure and troubleshoot F5 LTM/Global Traffic Manager for application availability.
• Administrate RSA Authentication Manager databases and user-agent configurations.
• Install, key, configure, maintain TACLANE/HAIPE encryption devices.
• Maintain physical infrastructure documentation including rack elevations, port maps, cabling, assets.
• Monitor network performance, capacity, and environmental health using SNMP-based tools.
• Deploy, support, and troubleshoot multicast IPTV services across the enterprise LAN.
• Coordinate with DoD and AFNCR teams during outages and degraded performance.
