Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DoD end-to-end SATCOM systems engineering and architecture design or integration for DISN or SATCOM Gateway/Teleport capabilities
• 4+ years of experience in DoD system lifecycle activities (acquisition, requirements analysis, engineering, design, integration, sustainment, or technical refresh)
• 4+ years of experience assessing satellite communications system architectures and current hardware limitations, definition and selection of new concepts and approaches
• 4+ years of experience leading engineering tasks for SATCOM systems with multiple components/subsystems
• 4+ years of experience planning, organizing, and conducting technical project design and development, testing, fielding, and sustainment
• Knowledge of DoD acquisition process and systems engineering requirements for military SATCOM systems
• Knowledge of DoDAF, Satellite Communications, and IP network technologies
• Ability to coordinate and consolidate disparate design efforts for an enterprise SATCOM system
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or IT field
