Riverlane in College Park, MD, is seeking a senior professional to lead DoD opportunities, shape solutions, and drive capture activities. You will build relationships with DoD labs and program offices, craft compelling proposals, and align Riverlane’s QEC capabilities with mission priorities.

The role requires strong technical background, government-facing experience, and willingness to travel up to 30%. Hybrid work across Riverlane and DoD sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Background in quantum computing or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Experience writing white papers, RFIs, proposals for US government customers.
• Experience building relationships with DoD science & technology organizations and partners.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into government solutions.
• Strong writing and persuasive communication skills.
• Depth of knowledge of DoD procurement and capture processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% to DoD labs and sites.
• Citizenship/access requirements may apply for certain programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, shape and close DoD opportunities, including direct sales and funded programs.
• Own and manage a focused DoD opportunity pipeline and capture strategy.
• Lead capture activities: white papers, RFIs, RFP responses and proposal compliance.
• Collaborate with Riverlane teams to align capabilities with DoD priorities.
• Travel to DoD labs, program offices and partner meetings.
