Job summary

Riverlane, a leader in quantum error correction, seeks a senior Business Development Manager to grow the DoD relationship from College Park, MD. You will drive opportunity development, capture management, and responses to RFIs/RFPs in collaboration with DoD labs, primes and industry partners.

You will travel up to 30% and shape technical solutions that leverage Riverlane’s QEC and advanced computing capabilities to meet DoD mission priorities, reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer.

Qualifications

• Technical background in quantum computing or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Experience writing white papers, RFIs, proposals for U.S. government customers.
• Experience building relationships with DoD organizations (DARPA, AFRL, ARO, ARL, NRL) and partners.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into compelling solutions for government programs.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Depth of knowledge of DoD procurement, contracting and capture processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
• Ability to meet applicable U.S. government requirements and citizenship considerations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify DoD opportunities, including RFIs, RFPs and partnerships.
• Own DoD opportunity pipeline, capture strategy and proposal planning.
• Build relationships with DoD science and technology offices and defense primes.
• Lead capture activities: white papers, proposals and source selection support.
• Coordinate with Riverlane teams to align solutions with DoD priorities.
