Job summary

Tech(x) is seeking a Property Specialist to support DoD logistics and property accountability operations. This role is critical to maintaining asset visibility, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across Army systems and supply chain environments.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in property accountability, GCSS-Army operations, and warehouse logistics, with the ability to operate in both structured and dynamic environments supporting mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in property management, asset visibility, or supply chain logistics.
• DoD property accountability on federal contracts experience.
• Hands-on GCSS-Army (GCSS-A) experience.
• Barcoding, DD250 verification, lockout/tag training, and shipping docs knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of army supply regulations and inventory principles.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Property & supply management per AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.
• Maintain property records within GCSS-Army; inventory control.
• Process turn-ins and lifecycle accountability for assets.
• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Document materials and track long-lead items.
• Coordinate with item managers to meet mission needs.
• Use GCSS-Army for shelf-life management, inventory and reporting.
• Prepare PQDRs and SDRs; serve as warranty coordinator.
• Provide high level of customer service to government customers.
