Job summary

Mercer Engineering Research Center in Warner Robins, GA, seeks a seasoned Program Manager to plan, staff, and manage complex contracts in compliance with MERC standards. You will maintain a detailed schedule and coordinate with the Sr.

Director of Engineering, Chief Engineers, and Technical Leads to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, citizenship, and an ABET engineering degree (or business degree with substantial related experience), plus PMP

Qualifications

US Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Undergrad degree in business-related field with 10 years related experience OR engineering degree from ABET accredited college with 7 years related experience.
PMP Certification mandatory.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Plan, staff, and manage assigned programs per MERC Standard Processes and maintain an up-to-date schedule for the contract life cycle.
Collaborate with the Sr. Director of Engineering, Technical Directors, Chief Engineers, and Technical Leads to ensure contracts are executed within budget and scope.
Provide programmatic and technical reviews to management stakeholders.
Assist capture with development of new business proposal responses as needed.
Encourage project personnel to identify follow-on opportunities and communicate them to leadership.
