Job summary

Mercer University’s Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC) in Warner Robins, GA; a Program Manager leads externally funded projects (typically <$5M) and reports to the Technical Director. You’ll coordinate with senior engineers to plan schedules, budgets, and technical reviews, ensuring timely, compliant contract execution.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance.
• PMP certification required and demonstrated project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee execution of externally funded programs within MERC processes.
• Plan, staff, and manage contracts with detailed programmatic/technical schedules.
• Ensure contracts are delivered within budget and scope per schedule.
• Assist with development of new business proposals and identify follow-on opportunities.
