Job summary

Tier4 Group in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a high-visibility DoD technology modernization initiative. You will be the primary point of accountability for program execution, ensuring delivery of contractual requirements, mission objectives, and strategic tech initiatives.

The role requires managing cloud modernization, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, data platforms, and digital transformation, with oversight of schedules, budgets, risks, and performance

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Master's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing large federal/DoD programs.
• Experience leading modernization involving cloud, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or data environments.
• Proven budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Interface between contractor team and Government leadership (COR, TPOC, and stakeholders).
• Lead large-scale modernization programs supporting DoD operations.
• Oversee program execution, schedules, budgets, deliverables, risks, and metrics.
• Manage cross-functional teams across locations and mission areas.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders and subcontractors for successful outcomes.
• Deliver executive briefings on status, milestones, budget, risks, and mitigation.
• Drive governance aligning with EA, security, and modernization objectives.
• Ensure compliance with DoD policies and program governance standards.
• Provide proactive issue identification, escalation, and resolution support.
