Job summary

ACES Group LLC is seeking a PPBE Analyst to support the DoD CIO on a 5-year, onsite contract at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and deep PPBE expertise to translate complex budget data for senior leaders.

The ideal candidate has advanced degrees and extensive DoD budgeting experience, with strong writing and communication skills, ready to manage multiple lines of effort in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master's degree in a field related to tasking with 12 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree with 14 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of DoD budgetary principles and PPBE; familiar with POM and BES processes.
• Experience with budget databases (DoD Resources, DRDW, SNAP-IT, DITIP, PRCP).
• Experience researching, drafting, and editing DoD budget documents; capable of planning and programming RDT&E, Procurement, and O&M funding at the OSD level.
• Self-starter who proactively identifies needs and adds value; excellent attention to detail and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data related to operations, performance, opportunities, and investments.
• Review and assess Service and Agency POM and BES submissions for alignment with DoD CIO strategies.
• Translate complex program data into plain language for senior leadership; draft and edit programming guidance and budget documentation.
• Prepare materials for governance forums and AO meetings, including RAHs and printed materials.
• Collaborate with Service and Agency officials to validate budget data on program elements.
• Support DoD IT policy initiatives using knowledge of JCIDS, DAS, PPBE, and related processes.
• Provide meeting, writing, and briefing support by translating SME input into policy-level language.
