Job summary

ACES Group seeks a Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) Analyst to support the DoD CIO. This onsite role requires ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance and a 5-year contract at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

You will translate complex budget data into clear guidance for senior leaders across the DoD CIO portfolio. The ideal candidate has deep PPBE knowledge and exceptional writing skills, with experience in DoD budgeting and POM/BES processes.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required with ability to sustain access.
• Advanced degree or extensive senior-level experience in related field.
• Deep understanding of DoD budget processes and policy language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data related to operations, performance, opportunities, and investments.
• Review and assess POM and BES submissions for alignment with DoD CIO strategies.
• Translate complex program data into plain language for senior leadership.
• Draft and coordinate programming guidance, policy language, and budget documentation.
• Prepare materials for governance forums and meetings, including Read-Ahead content.
• Collaborate with Service and Agency officials to validate budget data.
• Support DoD communications and IT policy initiatives using PPBE knowledge.
• Provide meeting support and rewrite technical inputs into concise policy language.
