Job summary

Gulfstream Strategic Placements, LLC seeks a DoD Petroleum-Oil-Fuels Field Superintendent / Project Manager in San Antonio, TX. Local candidates with a strong DoD and petroleum/oil/gas background are preferred to lead field operations and project coordination across crews and subcontractors.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, schedule and budget management, and close collaboration with owners and other contractors while implementing Lean construction practices and integrated delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction field superintendent / project management experience.
• Experience on DoD projects.
• Experience with petroleum, oil, and gas projects.
• Strong Lean Construction and Integrated Project Delivery knowledge.
• Ability to deliver customer value while eliminating waste.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe work environment and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate and supervise crews and subcontractors in the field.
• Set project priorities and manage schedules and budgets.
• Work closely with the owner and other contractors.
• Maintain daily reports of crew activities and material inventories.
• Apply Lean Construction methods on the job-site.
