Job summary

Systems Plus, Inc. is seeking a senior program manager to lead DoD medical product development programs in Frederick, Maryland.

You will guide acquisition planning, risk management, integrated scheduling, and stakeholder engagement with government leaders, industry partners, and technical experts. As IMS SME, you will develop resource-loaded MS Project schedules, identify milestones, analyze risks, forecast costs, and support decision making across ACAT II–IV programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; DoD experience preferred.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience in DoD acquisition or project management.
• Expert knowledge of Materiel Requirement, PPBE, DoDI 5000 and Adaptive Acquisition Framework.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; MS Office 365 proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team on DoD medical product programs, guiding planning and risk management.
• Participate in IPTs, Working Groups, and MILestone Reviews; prepare minutes and briefs.
• Maintain program docs, respond to inquiries, support market research and program reviews.
• Provide IMS risk management support across multiple IPTs; manage data in designated systems.
• Serve as IMS SME; develop resource-loaded MS Project schedules; analyze milestones and critical paths.
• Analyze and improve PMO processes; implement KPIs and SOPs; align with DoD requirements.
• Develop external engagement strategies; manage stakeholder relations and events.
• Apply PPBE and Process guidelines to acquisition planning and program briefings.
