Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) in Mountain View, CA is seeking a technically skilled IT/Helpdesk professional to provide Tier 1–3 support for DoD cybersecurity systems, ensuring secure and available operations.

You will guide hardware/software deployment, respond to incidents, maintain service records, and adhere to DISA/DoD policies, with a requirement for DoD 8570 Level II/III certification and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Five years of prior experience in a similar role.
• DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance support to maintain secure and available systems by using industry best practices to resolve incidents and respond to service requests while adhering to DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Provide technical guidance in the utilization of computer hardware and software, including installation, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Provide expertise in the software and hardware used by the Government and provide guidance and resolve issues as needed.
• Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 level technical support to the AvMC Enterprise.
• Log all service requests initiated by end-users outside the ASC end-user portal into the ASC service management system (emails, phone calls, web chats, face-to-face).
• Provide guidance to diagnose, categorize, and troubleshoot routine technical issues.
• Accurately log all service requests not received through the ASC end-user portal into the ASC service management system.
• Provide expertise with Account Management—provisioning of user accounts, computing equipment, telephony equipment, and modification of user attributes; Desktop Applications: MS Office, Adobe, JAVA; Desktop/Printer setup and troubleshooting; Security management (CAC, access control, encryption, audits).
• Support the configuration of new devices and sustainment of existing devices while adhering to DoD Mobility Unclassified Capability policies and procedures.
