Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a Network Services Engineer to support voice and data networks for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on operating the HNIB Integration Facility, managing core network devices, and ensuring secure, RMF-compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in DoD network engineering, a related bachelor's degree, and a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in network administration/engineering, including DoD experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; substitutions may apply with additional experience.
• Experience across all phases of the engineering lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, implementation, testing, operations.
• Solid knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls; ability to assess infrastructure and recommend improvements.
• Ability to guide system administrators and help desk staff; strong communication.
• U.S. Citizenship and a current Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sustain the HNIB Integration Facility and manage core network devices.
• Provide cyber security services for ATO/ATC for the HNIB IF connection to DREN.
• Support RMF A&A process with hardware, software, and dataflow documentation.
• Develop test plans, configure testing environments, and author test reports.
• Create and maintain configuration management and documentation of the HNIB IF baseline.
• Configure, test, and integrate network and cryptographic equipment; maintain laptops.
