Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Network Services Engineer to support voice and data networks for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. The role is full-time and involves operating the HNIB Integration Facility, managing core network devices, and providing secure network services.

You will contribute to RMF A&A, perform integration testing, develop test plans, and help ensure compliance with security requirements for the AFNET. U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in network administration or engineering including at least 3 years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Additional years of experience may substitute for degree requirements.
• Thorough knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls. Strong security focus for enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sustain the HNIB Integration Facility and manage core network devices and services.
• Provide cyber security services for ATO/ATC for HNIB IF connections to DREN.
• Support RMF A&A processes with hardware, software, and dataflow details.
• Conduct integration testing and develop test plans and reports.
• Implement cryptography, network security, and authentication in design and testing.
