Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to provide security support for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time position emphasizes adherence to DoD cybersecurity policy and RMF across complex systems.

Ideal candidates bring DoD experience, vulnerability management skills, and strong communication abilities to work with all levels of the organization. U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in cyber security or information assurance, incl. 3+ years in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with C&A, A&A, and RMF processes.
• Vulnerability scanning/management experience with automated tools.
• Knowledge of DoD/AF cybersecurity policies and standards.
• U.S. citizen with current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliverables meet DoD and Air Force cybersecurity policies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD/AF cybersecurity policy, DoDI 8500.01, RMF, and related policies.
• Support PKI and authentication capabilities for biometrics, signatures, encryption.
• Communicate across levels of the organization and manage security risks.
