Job summary

Abacus Technology seeks a Network Services Engineer to support voice and data networks for the C3I&N Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on operating and sustaining core network devices, implementing cyber security practices, and ensuring secure, reliable enterprise connectivity.

The position requires DoD experience, strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and hands-on involvement with RMF A&A processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in network administration or engineering in a DoD environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; additional years may substitute for degree.
• Thorough knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls; ability to assess and improve infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sustain the HNIB Integration Facility network devices and services.
• Provide cyber security for ATO/ATC in the HNIB environment.
• Support RMF A&A processes and track hardware/software configurations.
• Develop and execute test plans and reports for network integration.
• Configure and maintain enterprise network baselines and IP addressing schemes.
• Provide end-to-end support for surveying, installing, configuring, and integrating network and cryptographic equipment.
