Job summary

Leidos seeks a Network Engineer to design, optimize, secure, and sustain large scale DoD networks for ONI at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. You will support LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and cryptographic devices to enable critical government communications.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, CCNP, Security+ and DoD network experience, with strong OSI knowledge and Cisco ecosystem expertise. Travel to multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical discipline with 7+ years experience, or Master’s with 5+ years.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Active CCNP certification.
• Engineering experience supporting DoD communication systems and networks.
• OSI model knowledge L1-L4 essential for HGCC N31 and customers.
• Expertise with Cisco enterprise networking and large scale routing.
• Experience with Palo Alto and Azure Firewalls.
• Experience with SolarWinds, Cisco ISE with TACACS+, and GEMOne.

Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN, WAN, firewall, and NMS activities per Government guidance.
• Manage advanced Cisco routing and switching for enterprise networks (>700 devices).
• Configure cryptographic devices and OSPF routing.
• Review IAVAs/IAVBs and implement remediation.
• Support local network infrastructure and circuits from T1 through OC 192.
• Develop SOPs and propose security improvements to the Government.
• Provide onsite engineering support for operational mission environments.
• Provide technical assistance to remote HGCC divisions; travel may be required.
