Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Engineer to support ONI operations at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. You will design, secure, and sustain large-scale DoD networks, focusing on routing and switching for mission-critical environments.

Required: TS/SCI clearance, CCNP, Security+. Experience with Cisco devices, Palo Alto/Azure Firewalls, SolarWinds, ISE/TACACS+, and large-scale routing optimization. Travel to select international sites may be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field with 7+ years of experience, or a Master's with 5+ years.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • CCNP certification.
  • Experience with DoD networks and communications systems.
  • OSI model expertise (Layers 1–4).
  • Experience with Cisco enterprise networking and cryptographic devices.
  • Experience with Palo Alto/Azure Firewalls and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee LAN, WAN, firewall, and NMS activities per Government guidance.
  • Manage Cisco routing and switching for networks with 700+ devices.
  • Configure cryptographic devices and OSPF routing.
  • Review IAVAs/IAVBs and implement remediations.
  • Support local networks and telecom circuits from T1 to OC 192.
  • Develop SOPs and propose security improvements.
  • Provide onsite engineering support for mission environments.
  • Travel to Guam, Japan, Bahrain, Italy, Spain, Australia, S.Korea, Singapore.
