Job summary

Serco seeks a Network Administrator to support a DoD mission in Huntsville, AL. You will set up, configure, and maintain networks, systems, and security configurations while collaborating with a skilled IT team to ensure mission-critical availability.

A Bachelor's degree, CompTIA A+ certification, and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance are required. Travel up to 10% may be requested, and the role is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, operate, and support internal and external networks.
• Maintain network, system, application, and security configurations.
• Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues.
• Install and support network hardware, software, patches, and system updates.
• Recommend upgrades, patches, applications, and equipment to improve system reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support and guidance to system users.
• Assist with backups, recovery procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Document network configurations, system changes, troubleshooting activities, and procedures.
• Support cybersecurity and DoD configuration-management requirements.
