Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Network Administrator II to support our government customer at Shaw Air Force Base, Oakland, South Carolina. The role involves network/system administration and help desk tasks with limited supervision.

Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining LAN/WAN, ensuring security, and supporting remote users. Candidates must have DoD clearance, US citizenship, and an associate degree with related experience; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

Requires an associate degree in a technical discipline and 3 years of related experience on SAN/servers/video data, networks or firewall work.
Must possess and maintain a DoD 8140.03 qualification matched to DCWF duties.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Supports design, installation, maintenance, and support of LAN/WAN in a multi-protocol environment.
Performs configuration, monitoring, maintenance and analysis of data processing equipment and video systems.
Installs and upgrades operating systems and applications in a LAN/WAN client/server environment.
Provides Help Desk support for LAN/WAN hardware and software.
