Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing financial statement audits, including internal control testing.
• Experience with historical comparative analysis of financial records.
• Experience with the Department of Defense or Department of Navy.
• Excel proficiency: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced charting, Power Query, macros.
• Knowledge of GAAP and GAGAS.
• Secret security clearance required.
• HS diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with evaluating the operational design and effectiveness of internal controls for shipyard processes, programs, and systems.
• Support responses to internal and external audits and conduct risk analysis on business processes.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with financial analysts, accountants, and budget analysts to achieve financial goals.
