Job summary

ASR International Corporation in the Puget Sound area, WA, is seeking Cost Estimators to provide Design Technical Support for NAVFAC Northwest. You will prepare and review cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and support cost/schedule/risk analysis for facilities projects.

The role requires three years of estimating experience, proficiency with Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

US citizenship required.
Pass a T1 security background check.
Minimum of three years of construction estimating experience.
Knowledge of cost estimating principles for facilities projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software; AutoCAD experience preferred.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform facilities cost estimating including basis of cost documentation, industry and market research, quantity take-offs, and constructability reviews.
Conduct cost/schedule/risk analysis and life-cycle cost analysis of alternative systems.
Review contractor cost proposals and support independent government estimates.
Prepare detailed cost documentation and technical reports.
Coordinate with design teams and government stakeholders on cost-related issues.
