Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Material Program Manager to support the FXR program in the Advanced Technology team. The role focuses on supplier performance, engagement, and program execution onsite in MA.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supplier capabilities with program objectives and drive cost, schedule, and quality outcomes. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in project/program management, a DoD mindset, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and 10+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance, and/or Supplier Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier performance to meet program requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier capabilities align with program needs.
• Develop and execute Supplier Engagement Strategies, including resource allocation, budget management, and schedule adherence.
• Manage supplier backlog, ensuring priorities are defined and communicated.
• Identify and mitigate risks, drive process improvements across supplier operations.
• Collect, analyze, and report on supplier performance metrics.
• Develop and manage Estimates at Completion (EAC) for accurate financial forecasting.
• Act as primary point of contact for supplier-related program execution activities.
• Travel approximately 25%.
