Job summary

TJFACT is seeking a well-qualified Site Manager to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in San Diego, CA. The Site Manager will have full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to Contract Performance, with relocation provided if necessary.

This role is contingent upon contract award and involves coordinating with Government counterparts, supervising contractor staff, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Distribution Management, Business Management, or Business Administration
• Five years of distribution management experience or ten years of management experience in distribution operations
• At least three years using automated warehouse management systems in the past five years
• Knowledge and skills to plan, control, manage, and complete the work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• DLA/DoD supply chain management experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision of contractor employees and plan/manage the contract professionally
• Coach and mentor supervisors to optimize resource use and scheduling
• Ensure accurate and timely contract reports
• Implement cost-saving measures and quality controls to keep work on schedule and within cost
• Serve as central point of contact with Government for all contract work
