Job summary

Next Evolution Logistics Solutions (NELOGIS) seeks a Site Manager to support DLA Distribution operations in California. You will supervise contractor staff, coach leads, and ensure timely reports while enforcing cost controls and quality standards.

The role requires 5+ years in distribution management or 10 years in distribution operations, plus 3+ years using automated warehouse systems and a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Distribution Management or 10 years in distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
• At least 3 years of experience using automated warehouse management systems in the past 5 years.
• Ability to plan, control, and successfully complete work; possess related knowledge and skills.
• Must maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall supervision for Contractor employees, planning and managing the contract professionally.
• Coach and mentor supervisors to optimize scheduling and resource use.
• Ensure accurate, timely reporting and supervise to prevent wasteful methods.

Job Description

NELOGIS is seeking a Site Manager to support DLA Distribution operations in the State of California and has identified a need for distribution and warehousing services. DLA Distribution primary mission is to manage and execute efficient and effective receiving, storage, inventory, packaging, Care of Supplies in Storage, stock control, stock selection, issue processing, packing, shipping, and distribution of repair parts and secondary items in support of on-base, local, and worldwide customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Site Manager shall provide overall supervision for the Contractor employees to include, but not limited to, planning and managing the contract professionally;
• Coaching and mentoring supervisors and leads ensuring that work is scheduled properly to obtain maximum use of resources;
• Ensuring that accurate and timely reports are provided; effective supervision to prevent inefficient or wasteful methods in the performance of services ordered;
• Execute cost saving factors and quality controls to ensure work is performed as scheduled and at a fair and reasonable cost.
• The Site Manager shall provide overall management coordination and serve as the central point of contact (POC) with the Government for all work under the contract.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

As a minimum, the Site Manager shall possess at least five (5) years of experience in Distribution Management-OR have at least ten (10) years of management experience in distribution operations similar to the size and complexity to the operations offered in this contract.

Experience shall include a minimum of three (3) years of experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five (5) years.

The Site Manager shall possess the knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and successfully complete the work.

The Site Manager is required to have and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
