Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Technician to support a DoW customer in Springfield, VA. You will manage asset accounting, inventories, and procurement processes while ensuring compliance with government guidelines.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a collaborative environment. The position is on-site in Springfield, VA, with a 40-hour work week and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Active Secret US Government Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Two+ years of DoW Logistics/Supply Chain experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
• Experience with asset tracking software/databases.
• Familiar with DoD forms (DD250, DD1149, DD1150, DD1348).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with material handling equipment (pallet jacks to forklifts).

Responsibilities

• Serve as Asset Manager for designated assets and manage the asset mgmt program.
• Maintain an Accountable Property System of Record and asset inventory/disposition.
• Conduct regular physical inventories to ensure 100% accountability.
• Develop and monitor reports for inventory management and SLAs.
• Perform quality control and parts management for client assets and equipment.
• Oversee supply chain from procurement to delivery and disposal; optimize efficiency and costs.
• Maintain inventory of equipment; issue/receive with end users.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to fulfill orders.
