Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) Fallon, NV is seeking a Lodging Operations Manager to lead NHG lodging facilities in accordance with DoD and NHG guidelines. The incumbent reports to an NHG Regional Vice President and oversees performance, maintenance, and guest services to ensure compliance and excellence.

The role requires 5+ years in hotel or institutional management, strong budgeting skills, and experience coordinating maintenance, safety, and staffing.

Qualifications

• 3 years of administrative or operational experience in hospitality management or related fields.
• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in hotel/motel or institutional management, with budgeting and procurement exposure.
• Experience coordinating maintenance, safety, sanitation, and guest services in a lodging program.
• Knowledge of DoD/NHG guidelines or government lodging operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee NHG lodging facilities to ensure compliance with NHG guidelines and standards.
• Coordinate minor construction, painting, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Manage operating records, cash control, and inventory assets.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and security compliance for guests and staff.
• Develop and administer budgets and financial plans for NHG operations.
• Interact with guests to resolve inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Utilize PMS and CORE-HMS systems for reservations and inventory management.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and training to meet program standards.
• Maintain liaison with NHG lodging programs, vendors, and authorities within the local area.
