Job summary

CACI seeks an Information Technology Engineer to support DoD operations worldwide by maintaining, securing, and optimizing critical IT systems in sensitive environments to ensure reliability for both CONUS and OCONUS deployments.

The role emphasizes security, documentation, cloud management, and collaborative work through daily stand-ups, with opportunities to contribute to migrations, upgrades, and new technology deployments while advancing professionally.

Qualifications

DoD Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
Passport required for travel and duties.
Minimum 3 years IT experience, including 1 year on computing components or networking hardware.
Experience creating technical documentation in IT.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Current DoD IAT Level II certification—Security+ CE.
Ability to complete a customer-required medical assessment.

Responsibilities

Monitor dashboards, alerts, server health, and network status to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, account, and permission issues for end users.
Create, update, and disable cloud platform accounts per security requirements.
Apply system, application, and network device updates on schedule.
Validate firewall, VPN, switches, and routers for performance and security.
Confirm backup success and protect critical data assets.
Deploy, repair, or support desktops, servers, printers, and other hardware.
Maintain logs, tickets, configuration records, and network documentation.
Participate in daily stand-ups and meetings to support projects and infrastructure.
Contribute to cloud migrations, system upgrades, and new deployments.
