Job summary

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting military installations and federal agencies nationwide. SSE seeks a Mid-Level GIS Technician to support the 647 CES at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI, handling GeoBase data, mapping products, and data integration across systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of GIS experience, including at least 3 years with military GIS.
• Experience maintaining geospatial databases and producing maps and data layers.
• Ability to perform GIS data QA/QC and coordinate with diverse stakeholders.
• Must complete Tier 1 background investigation and obtain CAC.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update installation GeoBase data per SDSFIE standards.
• Create/update GIS mapping products for AMPs and asset inventories.
• Integrate GIS data with SMS, BUILDER, PAVER, and NexGen IT, troubleshoot issues.
• Perform QA/QC and reconcile spatial asset data across systems.
• Provide on-demand mapping and spatial analysis for Civil Engineering stakeholders.
• Prepare data layers and maps for CPP and other installation planning needs.
